What led you to this career?
A passion for wellness, empowering woman, sales and marketing!
What's a normal day at the office look like?
No normal days as a start-up! Everyday is it's own set of challenges and wins!
What did you want to be when you grew up?
I don't know what I wanted to be, but I wanted a big corner office in a big city.
What’s a work-related accomplishment that you’re really proud of?
Starting Ami Wellness has not been an easy road, but it has been an exciting one!
What’s the best career advice you were ever given?
Read every line of every contract, if you don't understand something try to figure it out, and then ask, do not assume!
What’s your go-to productivity trick?
Our Microsoft planner and team apps keep us all organized and reminds us of tasks we have to do. They allow us to all stay connected for quick communication.
What motivates you?
Music! If I need a pick me up or need to focus, it always helps me push through both at work and in workouts!
How do you define success?
I know this is odd, but I never really think of things in success failure metrics. I just keep working toward a vision that is constantly evolving and changing.
What does living the Cabana Life mean to you?
Sunshine, kids splashing in the pool, waves crashing on the surf, and maybe a cocktail. It means being comfortable and relaxed.
Is there anything else you would like us to include?
I love that Cabana Life is doing this and is inviting other female entrepreneurs into the brand. I think it is so important that we bond together and lift each other up. There is no competition in collaboration. If women worked together like that, we could make some of the big changes that need to be made in this world.
